Professor Barbara Rakel, PhD, RN, FAAN, co-director of UI’s Center for Advancing Multimorbidity Science, has been appointed Associate Dean for Research at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She will be filling this leadership position that will soon be vacated by Professor Ann Marie McCarthy.
