The purpose of the DAISY Faculty Award (formerly the “Nurse Educator Excellence Award”) is to recognize and reward excellence as a nurse educator at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of innovation as a nurse educator, as an educational leader, and as a mentor and role model to students and may be a lecturer/assistant-in-instruction, clinical track, or tenure track. The DAISY Faculty Award is in collaboration with the AACN.
