Professor Barbara Rakel was recently awarded the Dr. Rita and David Frantz Professorship in Nursing!

This endowed professorship is awarded to a tenure track associate or full professor with a distinguished program of research that is focused on improving symptom management and care delivery with evidence of interprofessional collaborations to advance team science. The honoree must also have a distinguished record of external research funding.
