Laura Kendall is a proud 2015 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She has practiced clinically as a staff nurse in medical-surgical oncology and outpatient oncology. She maintains her current practice as an oncology/infusion staff nurse at the University of Iowa Health Care Cancer Services-Quad Cities. Laura appreciates the opportunity to journey with patients and their loved ones during their cancer treatment.

Laura completed her MSN with a major in nursing education from Duke University in December 2020. Laura is honored to return to the University of Iowa and be part of the College of Nursing’s tradition of excellence in nursing education.

At the University of Iowa College of Nursing, Laura taught as an adjunct lecturer in the Nursing Clinical Education Center during the spring 2021 semester, and she is excited to now be an instructional track lecturer. Laura is passionate about educating and empowering nursing students to be future nurse leaders and patient advocates in today’s complex and dynamic healthcare environment. She is very grateful for her educational journey thus far, and she is enthusiastic about being part of her students’ educational journeys as well.
