Biography

Betty Mallen is an instructional track lecturer in the RN-BSN program. She serves students in the northern tier counties of Iowa. Her previous experience includes over 20 years in public & community health nursing. She has most recently worked as a nursing consultant for population health & quality improvement. Her teaching interests include value-based care, continuity and transitions of care, population health, community and public health nursing, and nursing leadership.
