Dr. McVeigh has been a faculty member at the University of Iowa College of Nursing since August 2018.  Dr. McVeigh is a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and teaches in the BSN and MSN EIP programs.  Before joining the University of Iowa, Dr. McVeigh was a faculty member at the Pennsylvania State University College of Nursing since 2011.  Her vast and varied teaching in undergraduate nursing includes clinical, simulation, and didactic instruction in the areas of fundamentals, geriatrics, med-surg, and professional development. She has taught in online RN-BSN programs in the areas of nursing informatics, family and community health concepts, pathology, and health concepts for adults with complex health needs.
