Dr. Tonya Johannes is originally from Albia, Iowa, and now resides in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She is an alumna of both the University of Iowa BSN and DNP programs. She achieved her other degrees from Indian Hills Community College and Maryville University. Dr. Johannes has worked in multiple areas in the rural setting in southern Iowa and is very excited to get back into academics. She previously worked at Indian Hills Community College on the clinical track of the nursing program for five years.
