Purpose of visit: Gain knowledge and assist with creating experiential learning activities in a critical care nursing course and health assessment course; assist with a publication on using electronic health records in a health assessment course; perform a literature review on the usage of electronic health records in nursing education; grant writing and developing a research proposal.

Purpose of visit: Raisa is a PhD student at the whose research focuses on using nursing processes and the use of standardized nursing terminologies in electronic health records to expand nursing knowledge about patients with multiple traumas.

Purpose of visit: To learn about the Iowa Model of Evidence Based Practice, attend the 30th National Evidence-Based Practice Conference, discuss research proposals in the field of evidence-based practice including evidence implementation projects, and discuss strategies to promote exchange of graduate students involved in collaborative research projects.

Purpose of visit: Discuss findings about cognitive decline in the indigenous population, writing papers, visiting the NCEC, and watching graduate and undergraduate classes as an observer to learn about active learning strategies and student-center approaches.

Purpose of visit: To gain exposure to: quantitative data entry, cleaning, and screening; using SPSS to conduct advanced statistical analysis; evaluating the psychometric properties of data collection surveys; and developing a research proposal (general idea through attending the grant writing workshop).
