More than 8,700 students were named to the University of Iowa dean’s list for the 2024 fall semester and 445 were from the College of Nursing. Nearly 1,000 were named to the president's list, including 135 College of Nursing students. Released last week in Iowa Now, the lists recognize academic achievement and excellence.
To be named to the dean’s list, College of Nursing students must be participating in clinical courses, have a total of 12 semester hours of earned credit; and have eight semester hours of graded credit with a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher.
To be named to the president’s list, a student must have a minimum 4.0 GPA in all academic subjects for the preceding two semesters, with a total of at least 12 semester hours of graded credit with a 4.0 each semester.
